Shuuuuuu
Hi everyone, it has been exactly 3 months today since I published ….Happy Women’s Day🌷
How are you doing?
On my end I must say, it has been a rather tough few months both at home and at work.. For anyone who has read my blog before you would know I am a control freak and when things don’t go my way I either retreat into a shell or my anxiety levels just spike up.
So I have had sleepless nights of worrying, overthinking and wondering how I can be better in trusting the current journey. It surely has not been easy, but I am happy that today on the 9th of Aug, 3 months after Mothers’ day I managed to connect yay! 🙌🏿
Home-front with losing so many of our loved ones, health scares, financial challenges and promises which are taking so long to be fulfilled all these have made it so difficult to take a pen, paper and write something. Work-front as well, the transition into the new space is really different and definitely not what I expected and this has made me question my move🥺
HOWEVER….one thing I like about myself is that I never stay too long in a pity party bus. The past few weeks I have been intentional in taking myself out of the damn bus …. I have started working out, taking walks to the various parks, going out, writing and genuinely saying the serenity prayer with understanding.
And although days are never the same, but one lesson I have taken from the past 3 months is in life there are no guarantees and we need to make the most of what we can irrespective of the circumstances

One thing for sure is that the only constant thing in life is change .. we all need to learn to embrace it …. it might not be the change we want, or have control over but we need to acknowledge it and be grateful that there will be a lesson that comes with that change
Thank you for the post, it really makes me take a deep reflection, on the changes experienced in our homes, places of employment and other relationships more so after having celebrated our special day - Women's day. I am thinking of the losses we have experienced due to death, changes in our employment status etc. These have a negative impact on our metal health. Hmm, my second nature of striving to practice gratitude challenges me to gradually embrace our new way of living, However, let this saying be food for thought: Never put an unchanged person in a changed environment. Cheers. Dr G
