Receiving my first menstrual cycle post the surgery hit me like a ton of bricks. It really came as a reminder that I was not pregnant.

The first periods came 2 months after the surgery and lasted for 8-10 days, the flow was extremely heavy, and the pain was awful. This was something I was not used to. Before, my periods used to last 4-5 days and I had a very light flow. BUT this time around it came with excruciating back and lower abdominal pains and very huge like BIGGGGG CLOTS.
The experience was traumatic, and the crazy cycles continued for 2-3 months before everything was back to normal again. The good thing was with periods back, it meant we could try again to have a baby………
